Rewind about two minutes before the first track to hear what is referred to as the "Transistor Intro", an instrumental 311 used to open some of their live shows during that era.Īccording to the band, the noise towards the end of "Stealing Happy Hours" was recorded in outer space. Recording began on March 11, 1997, and ended on Jat 3:11 PM.Ĭommenting on the title of the album, Hexum said "We are all transistors of the same energy from the sun."
